ABSTRACT

Just like half a year ago, Junior parks his Camry behind Marcel’s Maserati Quattroporte in front of Trattoria di Giorgio. On this early autumn evening, he’s reminded of how difficult work seemed last spring. He walks inside the restaurant and is directed to the veranda where Marcel sits at the same small table overlooking hills and vineyards. The BOM is a reflection of the new bike portfolio and the resulting product roadmap. The new portfolio is theoretically capable of delivering according to the corporate goals and with optimum results. Joe is proud that every new product is projected to generate significant revenue and that the total value of the portfolio has doubled under his tenure. Joe leads the BOM meetings, attended by the PMs as well as most functional managers and even some directors.
