ABSTRACT
Junior starts the January communications meeting by wishing everybody a happy and prosperous new year. For many, the second Monday of the month is their first day back in the office after the holiday break. Everyone looks pleased by the news, except Claudia, who fidgets in her chair. Some look happy to be back, and others are missing the relaxed days of family, friends, and good food. There is an awkward silence, which Marco finally breaks. They are both expert skiers and enjoyed the slopes at every skill level and under all conditions, and the beautiful, fresh powder seems to never stop coming down. People in the company have had a traditional opinion of hierarchy in Davanti, one that was built upon command and control.
