Connections to the Common Core State Standards

Table 1 outlines connections between the activities in Advanced Common Core Math Explorations: Numbers and Operations and the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics (NGA & CCSSO, 2010). The Standard column lists the CCSS Mathematics Content standards that apply to the activity. The Connections column shows other standards that are also addressed in the exploration. Extending the Core Learning describes how the activity extends student learning relative to the listed standard(s).
