ABSTRACT

There are more than 3,500 colleges in the United States. Some are more selective than others. Some are “name brand” colleges, but some of the nation’s best colleges are not well-known. Visiting colleges is the only way to acquire firsthand information and test their conclusions, and it is the only justifiable way to make final college selection decisions. It also includes the general and specific questions gifted students should ask when investigating and analyzing colleges. While gathering information about and considering various colleges, there are certain specific questions the people should ask the coaches to help them make a sound decision about their future. Many schools operate university-governed club sports teams that compete against other nearby schools, and most large universities have very competitive intramural sports programs for sports like flag football, volleyball, three-on-three basketball, slow pitch softball, and soccer.
