ABSTRACT

There are different ways that teachers can share this rubric with students. Some teachers prefer to provide it when they present a menu to students. The rubric can be reproduced on the back of the menu along with its guidelines. The rubric can also be given to students at the beginning of the year with the product guideline cards. Although the all-purpose rubric can be used for all of the activities included on the menus in this book, there are two occasions that seem to warrant a special rubric: student-taught lessons and oral presentations. These are unique situations, with many fine details that must be considered to create a quality product. Although valuable for both the student "teachers" and those in audience, student-taught lessons are not commonly used in the geometry classroom.
