ABSTRACT
In this lesson, students review the essential understandings of the unit related to Jim Crow South, Westward migration and conflict, and immigration, urbanization, and industrialization. Students discuss the ways of life for specific groups at the turn of the century including African Americans, European and Asian immigrants, Native Americans, and industrial and political leaders. At the conclusion of the lesson, students complete a unit postassessment.
