ABSTRACT
Students discuss push and pull factors influencing immigrants coming to America. They also analyze vignettes of immigrants to discover issues and problems they faced upon their arrival. Through a simulated visit to a tenement house apartment, students sense the issues associated with overcrowded living conditions.
