ABSTRACT
The only goal of the interview was to explore the impact of the policies on children without judgment and based on the opinions of the children themselves. In a recent focus group with students identified as gifted, one of the conversations wandered to community-based trauma, including school shootings, immigration policies in the border states, and violence. The following conversation was taken from part of that discussion. The students picked the community trauma topics, including the following interview about immigration. The only goal of the interview was to explore the impact of the policies on children without judgment and based on the opinions of the children themselves.
