ABSTRACT

This chapter presents a melange of themes and activities meant to address questions that concern gifted teens. Some people believe that gifted individuals are more prone to loneliness and depression than others, as there are not all that many people out there who are gifted like us. Others feel just the opposite: that being gifted opens up our choices of people with whom we can communicate, thereby limiting loneliness more than in a person of average intelligence. The chapter focuses on some common concerns about giftedness that literally hundreds of gifted children and teens have commented about. It provides more opportunities to explore our personal giftedness with our turn boxes.
