ABSTRACT

Part I of this text has introduced the target populations of interest who constitute gifted learners with special needs, what is known about them, and the research base on their need for intervention. This first section of the book has also laid out important case studies for consideration of gifted learners with special needs, highlighting their strengths and areas for improvement, what interventions work for them in school and beyond, and the people in their lives that have mattered in their development.
