ABSTRACT
Parenting advice is a regular topic on the morning television shows, in magazines, and on social media. The myriad of “dos and don’ts” is easily overwhelming and many times one piece of advice contradicts another. The concept of mindsets, and the power of instilling a growth mind-set in children, has proven to be a very powerful influence on each of the reader and the children that the people interact with on a regular basis. It has changed the way the people approach new learning, the way they praise the children they love, and the way the people respond to their own challenges, struggles, and frustrations.
