ABSTRACT
Pass out one of two memos from Dr. Billman (handout 7.1 on page 82 or handout 7.2 on page 83) at the beginning of the session. Which memo students receive will depend on whether they properly diagnosed Anthony’s illness and recommended that he be transferred to a hospital that could treat HUS. Use handout 7.1 for groups who did not respond to save Anthony’s life. Use handout 7.2 for groups who were able to save his life.
