ABSTRACT

Memos (handout 8.1 or 8.2, pages 87-88) regarding Darryl Harper should be passed out at the beginning of the session. Which memo students receive depends on whether they diagnosed Darryl’s HUS and took appropriate action. Distribute handout 8.1 to those groups who were able to respond to save Daryl’s life. Give handout 8.2 to those groups who were not able to make recommendations to that would save Daryl’s life.
