ABSTRACT

By now some overly eager or less thorough groups may have identified everything from undercooked French fries to a visit from the dairy council president as a cause of the E. coli outbreak. Students may need to be encouraged to predict the “most likely” sources of contamination and methods of transmission for the disease. Some of the data on the contagious disease reports, (especially on page 2 of each report) is unnecessary information. Some is potentially misleading.
