ABSTRACT
In this chapter, students will learn stories of gritty people. These include Steve Chen, Patricia Medici, Cordelia Cranshaw, Jennifer Lashbrook, Kid President, Jason Lester, Ariana Grande, Gunner Gillett, Sucheta Kripalani, and Benjamin “Kickz” Kapelushnik. Students are provided prompts for discussion and reflection. They will also have the opportunity to explore gritty individuals of their choice.
