ABSTRACT
Even with the ever-increasing use of debit and credit cards to pay bills and purchase goods, there is still something noteworthy and nostalgic about the use of coined money. Coins are daily witnesses to history as both art and artifact. Learning to listen to their own unique and particular language, we can tease their stories from them and perhaps a bit of wisdom along the way.
