ABSTRACT

The brain is the most complex machine ever created. Our brains contain billions of cells, called neurons. Each neuron sends messages to other neurons, making billions upon billions of different connections or pathways. A gene is like a bit of code or information. Readers inherit their genes from their parents; one set from each parent. These genes interact to determine everything about them from their eye and hair color, to how tall they are, to how susceptible they are to getting sunburned.
