ABSTRACT

There is a lot of research about kids with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). There is also a lot of recent information about people who are not diagnosed with ADHD until they are older. However, there is not much data that focuses on what challenges await students with ADHD after they graduate high school and how they can meet these challenges. Readers had to demonstrate executive functioning even when they were younger when they tuned in to one thing at a time, finished their homework on time, planned an activity, or cleaned up their room. Coaches continue working with individuals throughout different life stages. In addition to the coaches for sports teams that they know about, there are also life coaches, job coaches, and people like therapists or counselors who guide individuals in their marriages or in learning parenting skills.
