ABSTRACT

People with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) often struggle with keeping their personal items and affairs organized. Many successful adults with ADHD credit their spouses or programs or apps, such as Cozi family organizer or Google calendar, for helping them keep track of responsibilities and meet deadlines. For some children with ADHD, video games provide an alternate world in which they can find the success and satisfaction they can’t find in real life. Adults with strengths in motivation often move up the ladder quickly in any chosen profession in business, education, medicine, or law. Entrepreneurs are often highly motivated. Emotional stability can be influenced by many factors, including the genetics, the environment, and the relationships. Some children seem to be born much more temperamental than others and require significantly more parental and adult support to learn how to manage their big emotions.
