ABSTRACT

The tiny and colorful peacock spider is one arachnid known for its ability to bust a move for love. Intricate mating dances are common in birds and other higher organisms, but spiders show everyone that they knowhow to shake a tail feather. If reader's lady wants to go out for dancing and dinner, find themselves another partner. One little frog, however, may use author's icky storm drains to let the whole world know he's looking for love. They have eight legs and some weave silk, which the males use to build elaborate love gardens to attract females. When the two finally meet, the male dances for the female. An old 80s song claims that love is a battlefield, which is definitely true for the red velvet mite. If so, the male will cover the female's eyes with his wings, so she won't be distracted by other males' gular spectacles. Then there are romantic kisses, smooches shared by people in love.
