ABSTRACT

Mog BGrg played in the major leagues for 15 years and personally knew baseball legends like Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, and Lefty Gomez. He was also a spy. Moe wanted to serve his country. He was hired by Nelson Rockefeller’s office of inter-American affairs. He was given the official duty of monitoring the health and physical fitness of the American soldiers stationed in South America, but in reality, Moe used his language skills to travel around South America and learn all he could about threats to the United States. For the rest of the war, Moe traveled throughout Europe completing different missions for the OSS. After the war, Moe never talked about his assignments and never wrote an autobiography.
