Alignment of the Common Core State Standards With the Gifted Education Programming Standards

This booklet, designed around the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics for use by teachers with gifted learners, was developed in alignment with both 21st century skills (Partnership for 21st Century Skills, n.d.) and the 2010 NAGC Pre-K—Grade 12 Gifted Programming Standards in key areas and is connected and integrated in important ways to multiple professional communities within gifted education and also across general education.
