ABSTRACT

This chapter focuses on three main areas that show how photographs can be used in current counselling/psychotherapeutic practices. Initially, brief case study vignettes are provided showing how clients can respond to choosing an initial photograph from a set. Then, the specific use of Photocards in therapy is discussed through case studies of clients in a school. Thirdly, the use of client-found photographs, such as in reminiscence therapy, is examined.
