ABSTRACT
This chapter demonstrates the use of a photo diary through the author’s exploration of the personal, the political, and the professional as a result of the COVID lockdown. This is followed by some information as to the potential benefits of photo diaries and how to go about creating them.
Once again, what is important is what emerges between the person and the photograph. This unique phenomenology from often pre-conscious associations can give rise to descriptions that couldn’t be otherwise derived. Though once voiced, it is usually clear they were there all along!
