This conclusion presents some closing thoughts on the concepts covered in the preceding chapters of this book. The book focuses on developing an organizational culture steeped in real-time formative data access and analysis. It also focuses on understanding the importance of formative data points at the organizational level and exploring how we might maximize their impact through real-time access thanks to technology. The book examines the need to reevaluate how we approach data analysis based on advancements in technology, the loss of consistent summative data from previous academic years, and concerns about data reliability due to limited measures. It reviews how to plan the team’s approach for effectively using technology to gather and analyze formative data. The book also examines how the Plan-Do-Study-Act cycle can lead to action steps using professional learning communities. It explores how linking the formative data system, Programmable Logic Controller work, and professional development resources in one place can increase efficiency and effectiveness.
