ABSTRACT
Listening to the voices of global university presidents is important to understand higher education. In this interview, Professor Lakshman Dissanayake, vice chancellor of the University of Colombo, discusses personal experiences, leadership insights and arrangements, the institution, and future challenges and opportunities shaping higher education. The interview emphasizes quality as a top priority, being selected as a vice chancellor, international connections, and sustaining national conversations amongst leaders and government.
