ABSTRACT

Listening to the voices of global university presidents is important to understand higher education. In this interview, Professor Guido Saracco, rector of Politecnico di Torino, discusses personal experiences, leadership insights and arrangements, the institution, and future challenges and opportunities shaping higher education. Key points include the need for the school to catalyze innovation within the region, forming partnerships with companies, listening to and motivating faculty, fostering young researchers, and inspiring people to be proud of the institution.
