Listening to the voices of global university presidents is important to understand higher education. In this interview, Professor Luc Sels, rector of the University of KU Leuven, discusses personal experiences, leadership insights and arrangements, the institution, and future challenges and opportunities shaping higher education. Rector Sels talks about building interdisciplinary institutes, ensuring the strategic plan is activated at the academic level, and forming a balanced executive team.
