ABSTRACT
Parents are a big deal when teaching kindergarten and primary students. This chapter covers a swath of literature regarding parents and online learning, such as reasons why effective communication with parents is necessary and useful. It goes on to review effective methods of communication with parents. We then look into things that teachers can ask parents not to do, like whispering the answers to questions during lessons. Finally, we look at things that parents can do at home to support the online class.
