ABSTRACT

This chapter explores how to deal with differences in class sizes. Some teachers will be working in less affluent countries where the class sizes are 60–100 students. Some will be in countries like England, teaching class sizes in the 30s. Some will be in international schools with 14 and some will even have 1-to-1 classes. Throughout this chapter, the positives and challenges of each of these class sizes is explored, and how to move past the challenges effectively is elucidated.
