ABSTRACT
This chapter explains the benefits of collaborative teaching relationships as well as detailing strategies for teaching relationships that have become less than collaborative. Personal teaching examples are given examining how mentors kept me teaching and how other teachers and community members are often ready to help teachers. Strategies for creating collaborative relationships include taking competition out of teaching and blessing others. The chapter concludes with the story of an outstanding teacher who was known for her encouragement and support of others.
