ABSTRACT
In Chapter 4, “Continuing Self-Improvement: Major Supervision Model Categories,” introduces additional supervision models that will help you continue to grow in your field experience. Four categories of supervision models will be presented:
Developmental
Theoretically oriented
Integrated
Social role
The chapter offers examples for each model to determine which, if any, is the best fit for your counseling style and supervision needs based upon the supervision question, and guides you through a Supervisee Perception of Supervision questionnaire determining your supervisory needs and expectations.
