ABSTRACT
This chapter is about how social media influences the multi-hyphenate experience. What are the positives of social media? What are the negatives? How does it help someone’s career or help sell a specific product? Collectively, society is still figuring out how to grow this fast-moving aspect of communication and image. In this chapter, one explores how art relates to content, how a show went to Broadway because of an Instagram message, and how to properly structure an ‘ask.’ The Career Connection is Radio and Podcasts.
