ABSTRACT
This chapter is about the fine relationship between a skill and a proficiency. Skills are smaller, practiced efforts that service proficiency. Proficiency is a larger, broader, and strengthened artistic capability. Yet knowing the difference between the two is not all it takes to realize oneself as a multi-hyphenate; one must also understand how to combine the hyphens within each other. This chapter also has a helpful guide on if a skill stays a skill or grows into a proficiency. The Career Connection in this chapter is that of a photographer and videographer.
