Chapter 6: Interview with Aly Song. Walsh interviews lauded photographer Song, who is based in China and was sent by Reuters to cover the Covid-19 outbreak in Wuhan in March 2020. Song describes an episode where he was forced by authorities to delete his images from inside a Covid facility. He describes how difficult the pandemic was for the people of Wuhan, China. He talks about government-organized media tours and describes how his photo of Chinese youth at a nightclub shows viewers that life returns as the pandemic recedes.
