ABSTRACT
This chapter considers the impact of advances in technology and the increased use of synchronous online learning. It begins by encouraging tutors to consider the pedagogical reasoning that underpins the choices of technology, as well as discussing some of the practical considerations. Following this, it outlines some examples of commonly used platforms and supporting tech, all of which have grown in prominence in post-pandemic years.
