ABSTRACT

This chapter examines the impact of the postdigital on PBLonline, drawing on recent work in this area. The chapter begins by examining the idea of the postdigital and then exploring why it is important to PBLonline. The second section examines barriers to the development of postdigital PBLonline, including managed quality, linear learning, intense scaffolding, mismanaged evaluation and learnification. The final section offers a new model of postdigital PBLonline which offers new possibilities for developing innovative postdigital PBLonline curricula.
