ABSTRACT

Medical networks that offer subscriptions do not, like insurance companies, assess risk with the help of insurance mathematics. In the market system, many people could not take out insurance and would, in a way, be forced to incur significant direct expenses. It may cover persons representing the risk accepted by the insurer. Therefore, one of the most effective ways to ensure adequate access to medical services is, inter alia, deregulation of the medical professions and the pharmaceutical industry or greater trust in private institutions that guard the quality. It is important because a better understanding of the principles of operation of market solutions increases the chances of their more and more courageous implementation in individual countries. As late as 1920, more than 25% of American adults were members of such organizations, and the proportion was even higher in the United Kingdom (UK) and Australia.
