ABSTRACT

The introductory chapter emphasizes the importance of “this work” – our work as educators and people who care about children with gifts and talents. It establishes that the book will contain practical strategies, tips, and suggestions from gifted educational experts across America. The book will also share stories of joy, reminding us why we do what we do. It encourages readers to make the book their own by taking notes, highlighting, or dog-earing pages. It ends with an encouraging short poem by April Wells.
