ABSTRACT
This chapter explores a variety of research-backed services for advanced learners and students with gifts and talents. After a brief description of the research, educational experts ranging from psychologists to fourth-grade science teachers to university professors share strategies, tips, and practices focusing on services. Services and best practices include preassessment of interests, abilities, readiness, and learning profiles; acceleration; independent projects; open-ended questioning; and more. The chapter ends with tales of joy where appropriate services made real differences in the lives of students and teachers.
