ABSTRACT

Yao Lu returns to the therapeutic community setting, and her interpersonal relationships are seen in a new light. Javier helps Yao Lu connect with deep-seated pain following the placement of her child in foster-care. Cyclical dynamics between Yao Lu and her adoptive mother are discussed. Javier works to allow Yao Lu's emotional voice to surface and be heard. Moreno's psychodrama influences the work.
