ABSTRACT
This chapter presents the analytical framework developed for the study: the Policy Interactions Framework (PIF). The framework allows stepping out of the traditional policy domains approach in urban policy analysis. The PIF facilitates the empirical investigation of how policies from distinct policy domains overlap in urban space and interact to produce specific accessibility outcomes. After an overview of the literature on accessibility, urban political economy, and policy feedback theory, the chapter builds on each of these bodies of literature to assemble the PIF. The chapter ends with a step-by-step guide on how to apply the framework.
