ABSTRACT
One of the prerequisites to be mobile across urban space is to have access to mobility resources. The chapter takes a political economy approach to assesses the extent to which publicly financed mobility resources are distributed equitably across the urban region. The chapter proposes an analytical framework based on evaluating the levels of rivalry and excludability of mobility resources. This analytical framework maps the spatial distribution of public and common mobility resources across MCMZ. The study shows that publicly funded mobility resources in MCMZ tend to overlap with existing employment subcenters while leaving peripheral areas in disinvestment.
