ABSTRACT

This chapter describes how a Resilience Coordinating Coalition (RCC) can use the information generated during the initial healing gatherings and development of a Community Resilience Profile to establish its goals, objectives, strategies, and action plans to build universal capacity for mental wellness and transformational resilience and engage residents in climate solutions. It emphasizes that each of the Resilience Innovation Teams the RCC establishes will need to develop strategies that make sense to the populations and sectors they engage with. The chapter then describes the meaning of and how to determine the RCC’s goals. It moves on to discusses what objectives are and how to establish them. Logic models that can be used to develop strategies are then described. The chapter closes by discussing how indicators can be chosen and the importance of establishing monitoring and evaluation mechanisms before launching the strategies.
