ABSTRACT
Designing the manufacturing knowledge management (MKM) process is considered as part of the new wave of making strategic decisions in manufacturing companies. Management boards require new approaches that allow MKM processes to be included, both in changes in production towards a mass customisation strategy and in implementing new technologies. This chapter describes the current approaches to knowledge management and then replaces them with a new approach that integrates the MKM process with the implementation of I4.0 technology. The proposed approach to MKM is then mapped and the integration of I4.0 technologies is then applied to the Reference Architecture Model Industry 4.0 (RAMI 4.0) and offers the innovative Architecture Reference Model for MKM (ARMMknowI4).
