ABSTRACT

Threats of a long-term, severe disruption to life force manufacturing to always have the capability to use received, accumulated and available knowledge, especially in crisis situations, in order to recover from such situations and be self-healing and, thus, remain viable. This chapter explains the innovative Architecture Reference Model for MKM (ARMMknowI4.0) with details of each of the three dimensions in a customer-oriented organisation. This new architecture can quickly build up MKM in a company which is recovering and is integrated with I4.0 technologies, in order to autonomously organise the workflow of the business process and make smart strategic decisions, the use of which will formulate the company’s conduct in crisis situations. The new wisdom is applied in the form of a structured scenario for the design and implementation ARMMknowI4.0. Finally, guidelines for managers on how to implement and integrate the proposed approach are presented.
