ABSTRACT
Maternal eroticism, through body-based, nonverbal ministrations, is discussed as ways the mother and child take each other in. Petra is introduced as struggling with closeness, femaleness, femininity and other aspects of the maternal transference, revealed through its enigmatic, structuring effects on her unconscious.
