ABSTRACT
The chapter explores the relationships between kraevedenie and Soviet school of geography. The Soviet geographical school had some particularities which had found their reflection in the way the nature shall be represented in the kraevedenie museums across the country. The chapter provides an overview of the Soviet guidelines on how the nature should have been represented in the Soviet museums.
