ABSTRACT
The first qualitative chapter shows good examples of ethnographies and identifies techniques to conduct participant and non-participant observations. The chapter provides practical guidelines to establish trust, gain insights, and build rapport as well as ethical research and reporting techniques for ethnographic work.
