ABSTRACT
This chapter examines psychopathology from a neuroscience perspective. One of the major contributions of the 20th century toward understanding psychopathology was the creation of a reliable diagnosis and classification system. This chapter examines the major disorder categories from a brain and behavior standpoint. These include both mood disorders, such as anxiety and depression, and schizophrenia.
